Bollore Inc. is a company of a French concern. It was incorporated in 1976 and is currently involved in the production and sale of the following products:

• dielectric polypropylene film
• specialized packaging films

Currently, the company ranks first in terms of the number of products sold and technologies used,
One of the company’s latest ventures is investing in the development of heat-shrinkable packaging.
Bollore has the potential to become a global player in the shrink packaging market. In order to meet the needs of customers, the company produces a very large number of types of films. Throughout all these years, Bollore has remained the official representative of well-known brands on the polyolefin film market in Poland.
The process of packaging in heat-shrinkable film is divided into two stages: welding and shrinking.

In order to obtain a durable and aesthetic thermal seal, the following processes must be maintained:

• sealing iron temperature approx. 170-190oC.
• proper pressure of the welding rod and stabilization of the film thanks to its covers at the time of welding
• welding time approx. 0.5-1 s

In some devices we can encounter ionization of the film – which results in electrification of the film on the overlap and a practically invisible weld.
